Dr. Emily Munn is a licensed naturopathic physician certified in acupuncture and has advanced clinical training in hormone balancing, bio-identical hormone therapy, integrative fertility, and women’s health. Emily has a strong science background and was a division one student-athlete playing soccer on scholarship for four years in the United States. After completing her first degree, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Creighton University, she went on to qualify as a naturopathic physician (ND) after completing four years of medical training at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM), graduating in 2013. BINM is one of seven accredited colleges of naturopathic medicine in North America. The first two years of training are similar to conventional medical programs, while the final two years provide hundreds of hours of training in nutrition and herbal medicine, as well as clinical training in an outpatient clinic. After completing naturopathic medical school, Emily was certified by the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX), which are professional licensing exams administered by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE). During her four years at BINM, Emily pioneered the botanical garden committee, traveled to Nicaragua with Natural Doctors International and did externships in Haiti with Mamababy Haiti, working along side midwives in a perinatal clinic, as well as in Victoria, BC, at a family health clinic serving low-income families.

Emily practices an evidence-based, yet holistic approach to health and wellness. She provides root-cause healthcare and functional medicine using thoughtful laboratory testing, researched herbal medicine, practical nutrition & lifestyle coaching, targeted vitamins & minerals, restful acupuncture, and bio-identical hormone therapy.
